Activated Carbon Dosing System

Product Structure
The system is mainly composed of the feeding dust removal system , storage system, conveying system, dissolution preparation system (only wet method adding), dosing pump group system (only wet method adding), pipeline flushing system and PLC control system.
Feeding Methods
Positive pressure conveying method: The activated carbon powder is transported to the storage bin via an airflow generated by the tanker, where it is mixed with air. The air is purified by the dust removal filter before being discharged, while the activated carbon powder settles into the storage bin.
Negative pressure conveying method: This technique is primarily used for transporting powders like activated carbon that flow easily, resist moisture absorption, and require minimal dosage. The activated carbon powder is bagged and fed into the storage bin via a vacuum feeder. After being purified by dust filtration components, the air is discharged while the activated carbon powder settles into the storage bin.
Working Process
After the material is transported to the silo, the storage level sensor sends signals to the control system. The silo is equipped with an air bowl arch-breaking device and an activation hopper to loosen the material. Then, a precision metering screw feeder installed at the bottom of the silo dispenses the material in measured quantities.
Wet Dosing System
The slurry is transported by a screw conveyor through a closed pipeline to the dissolution tank, where water is added to achieve the desired concentration. After residue removal, the slurry enters the storage tank and is then pumped to the dosing point by a dosing pump, completing the activated carbon dosing process.
Dry Dosing System
After the precise metering and conveying by the screw feeder, the pressurized water is transported to the dosing point by the Venturi ejector, and the solution is directly added without prior dissolution and mixing .
Product Features
The system uses PLC control to realize fully automatic dosing, and it is convenient to upload parameters and monitor the upper computer.
The dosing system has a stable structure and low failure rate . It is equipped with fault alarms and shutdowns for material level, liquid level, etc., and it can upload to the upper computer to ensure safe operation.
The air bowl breaking arch and activating system ensures the stable and uniform feeding without bridging, and the precise metering of the material conveyed by the feeder ensures the accuracy of the dosing.
The dissolution tank collects a measured amount of water and activated carbon powder, automatically mixing them in a predetermined ratio to ensure uniform solution preparation with precise concentration. The variable frequency pump delivers the material, automatically adjusting the dosage based on the raw water flow rate.(only wet dosing system)
The direct injection of the Venturi jet is simple in structure, easy to maintain and reduce the wear of the equipment.(only dry dosing syetem)
The backwash system can prolong the service life of the dosing pump and prevent the pipeline from clogging.
The equipment is simple, which need small space, and the investment is low.(only dry dosing system)
